Helping You to Experience
the Joy of Playing Music
We are Back Open!
A Note from Rancho Canyon Music
Dear Parents and Students,
First, Rancho Canyon Music would like to thank you all and tell you how grateful we are for your flexibility and understanding during these strange times. The response to our Remote Teaching Program has been overwhelmingly positive and a great experience for our instructors to learn and adapt in their profession. We came through this thanks to you all.
As part of California’s phase one opening, we were allowed to return to in-person work on May 8. We made an assessment and felt that this was a bit too early. As of this writing, California is on a consecutive day run of declining positive cases among those tested and we feel confident in re-opening Rancho Canyon Music to teach in person by Monday, June 1.
These are the steps we will be taking to ensure the safety of parents, students, and our staff:
•Many of our instructors will be wearing a mask and ask that anyone who enters their studio wear face covering, too. If you forget, a mask will be provided.
•Use of hand sanitizer will be enforced before beginning and again at the end of each lesson. To that end, Rancho Canyon Music has acquired a leading-edge hand sanitizer from Virocene.
•All touch points will be disinfected after each lesson. This includes instruments, accessories, and door knobs.
•Unfortunately, parents and caretakers will not be allowed to sit in on lessons for the time being. You are more than welcome to listen from outside the studio or have the lesson streamed remotely to you via Skype or FaceTime.
•Please bring your own writing utensils to make necessary notes.
Rancho Canyon Music understands that some of you may still feel uncomfortable returning to in-person lessons. Please contact your specific instructor to make specific arrangements.
Thank you all again for your cooperation. We look forward to seeing you (in person!) soon.
