Our Music Lesson Policies
At Rancho Canyon Music, we believe it is our duty not only to teach students to play and understand music
but to instill the mental discipline that is necessary for a rewarding musical experience.
In order to provide you with the best possible learning environment, we ask that all students observe the following policies.
Thank you for your cooperation.
-
Tuition Payment Policy
Monthly tuition for a specific month is due no later than the first lesson of that month, usually at the first meeting each month. Certain teachers require that payment is made prior to the first lesson of each month. Please check with your individual instructor.

Attendance and Lesson Cancellation Policy
We understand that situations arise such as illness, vacation, or other matters that keep a student from being able to attend their music lesson. Our instructors will be happy to reschedule a lesson for any student, provided that they are notified no less than 24 hours prior to that lesson's cancellation. In the event of a lesson that falls on a holiday or a teacher cancellation, a make-up lesson will be scheduled. A rescheduled time will be worked out and agreed upon by both the instructor and the student or the student's parent/guardian. Students who cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours notice, or students who fail to show up for a rescheduled lesson, will forfeit the right to reschedule that lesson, and no tuition credit or reimbursement will be available.

Tardiness
In consideration of other students, there will be no extension of lesson time if a student is late. The lesson period will consist of the remaining time in the scheduled time slot. Our instructors reserve the right to reschedule or discontinue any student who is habitually late or absent.
